The field is on the second break of the day, the last chance to enter the tournament as registration is closing.

Lily “Big Salami” Kornik (Montreal, Canada) is on her second bullet and says, “card dead, nothing. We’ll see if this one’s any better.”

Kornik says she’s a “snow bird” who spends her winter’s in Florida adding, “put down ‘Big Salami’ that’s how they know me.”

Kornik says she used the nickname as an icebreaker many years ago when “women weren’t welcome at the poker table.” Adding, “they’d call ‘Big Salami’ and when I’d sit down they’d say, ‘oh, you’re big salami’.”

So far Kornik’s been through the meat grinder and hoping the second entry produces better results.
