After being crippled by Jack McIntyre, Seth Nelson (pictured above) found some help from the deck and is back up to 22,000.

“I got all in and behind twice,” said Nelson as we walked by his table.

Nelson got all in with A-Q against Amie Martini’s pocket deuces and made a pair to win a race. He then found himself all in with A-J against his opponent’s A-Q the very next hand. He made the nut flush to stay alive.

“He’s the worst player in the tournament and he’s the chip leader,” joked a player to his right. “You know it’s true.”

“Well, the second worst,” said Santos, who goes by “AJ”. “But he is eliminated so I guess I’m the worst.”

Santos is sitting with 86,000 in chips.

After 76 players registered for the first flight, it means that the third and final flight being played on Saturday morning needs to have 64 players in order to meet the $100,000 guarantee.

We missed the action, but the final board read and Jack McIntyre (pictured) had an “all in” button in front of him and he was being pushed the pot as he showed .
