Jonathan Toth

Action folded to Jonathan Toth in the small blind and he moved all in for 825,000. Joshua Garber thought for a quick second in the big blind and called with the bigger stack.

Toth: 3c2c
Garber: AdQh

Toth had two live, suited cards and missed the 9s5d4c flop but picked up open-ended straight draw outs. The Kh turn was a blank and he was eliminated in tenth place after the 4s river. A brutal last few hands for Toth.

Tournament staff paused the clock and they are done for the evening. The nine remaining players are bagging up their chips and will return tomorrow at noon to play down to the 2018 WPTDeepStacks Main Event champion.

Joshua Garber – 3,105,000 (62 bb)
Jonathan Toth – Eliminated in 10th place ($9,480)

Quentin Jones

Quentin Jones open-shoved for 695,000 and Jonathan Toth called in the small blind to put him at risk.

Jones: Jh8s
Toth: TcTs

Jones was in trouble with the single over card but paired it on the Jc7h3s flop. The 6h turn and 4c river were safe for Jones to pick up the double.

On the next hand, John O’Neal moved all in for 375,000 from early position and Toth called again with another chance to finish the day.

O’Neal: 4d4s
Toth: Jd9c

It was a race but Toth never came back as the board ran all low 5d3d3c5h2c for another double up.

John O’Neal – 850,000 (21 bb)
Quentin Jones – 1,490,000 (37 bb)
Jonathan Toth – 665,000 (16 bb)

They dropped one after another until Acharya was heads-up with Geneva Pinney, making her second final table of the series, and they agreed to a deal to divide up the remaining money. Pinney earned $5,032 as the runner-up and Acharya took the title plus $6,500 thanks to his chip lead

Brandon Byars

There was another quick spurt of activity after the second break to leave the Main Event down to the final table ten.

Daniel Johnson was eliminated by Justin Donato when his AdJc could not find a way to crack KcKh. Andrew Pacifico went out in 12th place while that hand was going on and Brandon Byars followed suit when he shoved for his last 70,000.

John O’Neal and Rex Clinkscales called in the blinds and checked down the AdQd4cJsJd board. Byars tabled 7d7h but it was second best to Clinkscales Ac5h to go out in 11th place.

Tournament staff paused the clock and the last ten players are redrawing seats at the final table. One more elimination and their night is done with the final nine playing out tomorrow.

Main Event: Elie Williams Eliminated by Michael Cohen

Elie Williams

We are still rolling right along with Lewis Gallo and Charlie Kapetanakos dropping out soon after the redraw and Elie Williams moved all in while they were getting paid out.

He shoved for 350,000 and Rex Clinkscales folded before Michael Cohen reshipped his chip lead. Clinkscale laughed and said he folded JackAce.

Cohen: AcKd
Williams: JsJh

Clinkscales would have been dominated had he gotten out of line instead it was Cohen dragging another pot after the AdQs9d2c7s to send Williams out.

“The guy just can’t lose,” Ory Hen said after the hand.

The 15 remaining players are taking a 15-minute break as tournament staff pull the 1K chips out of play.
