Just because players didn’t make it deep in the Tampa Poker Classic Championship, that doesn’t mean we don’t have another big option for them. Event 14 will run alongside Day 2 of the Championship with a healthy prize pool and slow structure.
Event 14 is a $1,700 buy-in tournament with a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool and two-day format. Players start with 30,000 stacks and all levels last 40 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 10:45 pm.
Day 1 will come to an end after Level 12 and survivors will return tomorrow to play it out for the title.

TK Miles open-shipped for 147,000 from middle position, Ken Fishman reshoved from the button and Justin Zaki folded his big blind after thinking about joining. Miles was behind with against and our 2021 Tampa WPO Champion could not find a save.
Elsewhere, Siddharth Siddharth caught a flush with his against Fabian Foster’s pocket tens to send him out and move over a million.

Action folded to Steven Snyder on the button and he raised to 24,000. Paul Snead folded his small blind and Fernando Rodriguez moved all in from the big blind with a bigger stack.

On the second round of hand-for-hand, we had two all-ins called at separate tables.
After a flop of , Michael Stonehill checked from the big blind, Stuart Taylor bet 80,000 and Stonehill check-raised all in for 160,000. Taylor called and they tabled their hands after action was complete at the other tables.

Stonehill was ahead with top pair top kicker but needed to fade a gutshot draw and two overs. The board finished turn and river and Stonehill doubled on the bubble.
Next table over, it was three-ways to a flop. Siddharth Siddharth and Romeo Mendoza checked in the blinds and David Tuthill bet 28,000. Siddharth called and Mendoza check-raised to 80,000.
Tuthill moved all in for 205,000 total, Siddharth folded, and Mendoza called after thinking it through.

Tuthill was ahead with the aces against Mendoza’s club draw. His bad news came right on the turn and his aces were cracked for a bubble exit after the river.
The remaining 55 players were in the money and guaranteed at least $3,990.

The TPC Championship field dropped down to 56 players midway through Level 16 and tournament staff paused the clock. They broke a table with 56 players remaining and began the money bubble process.
They will play hand-for-hand at each table with two minutes coming off the clock for each hand dealt until one more player is eliminated.
