Friday was a big day in the Poker Room with two more flight of $250,000 Guarantee Event 1 and another one-day trophy event.

Flight E of Event 1 in the morning pushed the combined total of entries at 499 and the 6 pm session is already the biggest so far. None will compare to the turnout we expect on Saturday morning for the last flight. Another 16 players advanced to Day 2 on Sunday for 71 total with two flights to go.

The Omaha 8/Stud 8 tournament had a small but talented field. They will play down to our next champion later tonight and we will have details in the morning.

As for Saturday, there’s only one major on the schedule. The last flight of Event 1 when we hit the guarantee and continue pushing it higher. For those trying to get in for a discount, we have a $100 buy-in satellite starting at 9 am with ten seats guaranteed.

9AM: Event 12 – $100 Event 1 Turbo Satellite (Re-Entry)

• 10 seats guaranteed into $250,000 GTD Event 1
• Players begin with 10,000 in chips and 15-minute levels
• Late registration/re-entry available until start of Level 9
• This is a one-day tournament and plays until completion

11AM: Event 1 Day 1G – $360 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

• $250,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
• Players begin with 20,000 in chips with 30-minute levels
• Single ante will be paid from the big blind for the entire table
• Late registration/re-entry available until start of Level 9
• Day 1 will end after Level 14 or Tournament Director discretion
