The action started on Nguyen. He cut out 55,000 and pushed it in the pot. Ali took a minute before folding the button and the small blind quickly got out of the way. With that, Nguyen, whose stack had taken a hit, is back up to the 850,000 range.

Event 1: $570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em
Level 20: 5,000/10,000/1,000 Ante
Players Remaining: 37/698

Marvin “Duckman” Karlins busted holding his famed pocket deuces just moments ago. According to the table, the cutoff limped and Karlins open-jammed for about 300,000. It folded to Flight E chip leader Parm Mehmi and she called.

Mehmi: TxTx
Karlins: 2x2x

Sure enough, Karlins held the signature pocket twos, but needed a lot of help if he wanted to stay alive. Unfortunately, the board ran out bricks and Karlins was eliminated 38th for $1,536. Mehmi raked the pot and became the first player to crack the 1,000,000 mark. She holds 1,390,000.
