With 80 players remaining and 79 getting paid, tournament staff paused the clock to begin action on the money bubble. They will continue playing hand-for-hand until one more player is eliminated with two minutes coming off the clock for each hand.

If the clock clicks over to the next level, blinds will increase.

With the clock ticking down on Level 15, the Championship is very close to hitting the money bubble. When the field reaches 80 players, tournament staff will break a table and go into hand-for-hand mode until one player is eliminated.

Championship players were sent on a 15-minute break after Level 14 as tournament staff pulled the purple chips out of play and introduced the 25K chips.

A walk among the tables showed the same leaders at the start of the day were still up there with Mike Rossi joining them. Michael Dalberth was tops with 973,000 and some big stacks trying to chase him down.

The TPC Championship isn’t the only game in the room today, we have something for those who couldn’t make it out this week or fell short. Event 10 has a $1,100 buy-in with a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool and two-day structure.

It should be filled with some fun players.

They’ll sit down to 30K deep stacks and the first 12 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 minutes at the start of Level 13. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 6:30 pm. The tournament will continue until nine players and they will return tomorrow at 2 pm to find our champ.

We found Alexander Kimpel earlier with a few more chips to start the day but Michael Dalberth might be having a better start. After coming into Day 2 with 174K, he now sits with 863,000 after sending catching some big hands to empty some seats.

“You know you don’t have to win the table, right?” his table joked.

We didn’t see how it happened, but we noticed Alexander Kimpel sitting next to Fred Paradis with a few more chips now than he started on Day 2. He is up to 759,500 and among the leaders after coming into the day with 395,500.

Blinds increased to 2,500/5,000 with a 5,000 ante and the average stack is about 208,000 (42 bb)

With the flop reading , Fred Paradis checked and Jack Sumner bet 11,000. Hal Rotholz raised to 42,000 and Paradis check-raised all in for 71,5000. Sumner did some deep thinking, took nearly five minutes to decide, and opted to fold. Rotholz quickly called the remaining amount and Paradis was at risk.

Both players were drawing for the clubs and Paradis needed to dodge two live cards. The turn locked up the flush for Paradis and he doubled after the river finished the board.

Paradis already owns two trophies from this series and looking to make his third a big one.
