The $1,100 buy-in TPC Event 10 drew 89 entries to push the $50,000 guarantee into a prize pool worth $86,330 and we had a great group of players to close out the last weekend of the series. After a tough final table, Bogda Toma took the title and $22,621 after a heads-up deal with Richard Pressler.

Fred Paradis opened to 250,000 from the button, chip leader Ryan Brown peeped at Paradis’s stack, and moved all in. Paradis quickly called and the cards were flipped up.

Paradis was behind but drawing live for a double up. He missed the flop and the turn. But the river improved him to a pair of queens and Paradis stayed alive for his third trophy of the series.

Action folded to Steve Buckner on the button and he moved all in for 1,550,000. Fred Paradis folded his small blind; Thad McNulty thought for a minute, checked to see how much he’s have left if he lost and called to put Buckner at risk.

Buckner needed a lot of help to double this time and missed the flop. He had a gutshot but McNulty was drawing to a higher straight. The came on the turn and both made a straight on the river. Buckner’s straight was to the nine but McNulty had a ten-hight straight to send “Cuz” out.

With about 700K in the pot and the board reading , Rodney Turvin checked, and Ryan Brown bet 575,000. Turvin thought for a moment, moved all in for 1,800,000 and Brown called after confirming the count.
