The last week of the 2022 Pinktober Poker Open is rolling out games that are getting bigger as we near the Championship on October 14. Event 6 was a $600 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament and Jason Block came away with the outright win for $16,190 over a tough final table.

The tournament drew 116 entries to more than double the $30,000 into a prize pool worth $60,900. The last 15 players made the money and they got there after the late dinner break.

The final table featured a talented final table that included former Tampa champ Tom Nguyen, WPT/WSOP winner James Calderaro, Cheri Beatty, Jeremy Becker, and reigning WPT Player of the Year Jake Ferro. Block outlasted them all and took home his second major Tampa title to go along with his 2022 Winter Poker Open series win.

Event 8 cruised through the first four levels of the day and players are taking a little break from the action. There were no huge stacks found on break, but David Meagher looks like the biggest with just over 70,000.

Igor Tretyakov is back in a $1,100 buy-in tournament only a couple of days from winning one. He won the two-day $1,100 tournament on Monday over a tough final table and walked away with $18,460.

His tablemate today, Deborah Farmer, was also part of that talented final table lineup and she finished in fifth place for $4,110.

The Mixed PLO tournament has a nice turnout of 37 entries heading into Level 8 and time is running out if you want to jump into the game. They will play out Level 8, take a 15-minute break, and registration will close when they return.

The Pinktober Poker Open Championship is right around the corner and we have two big warmup events before it gets underway. The first one goes at noon with a $1,100 buy-in tournament that features a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool and a one-day structure. Tomorrow we ramp it up to $2,200 with a $100,000 guarantee.

Players start with 30K stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm with a dinner break at 8:45 pm.

Another day, another non-Hold’em game on the Pinktober Poker Open schedule. Today at 10 am we have a $400 Mixed Pot Limit Omaha tournament that will rotate between PLO, PLO 8, five-card PLO, and Big O. Players will need to show talent at all the games to win the title.

Players start with 15,000 stacks and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm. They will take a 40-minute dinner break at 6:45 pm and return to find our Event 7 champ.
