It was a great day of poker on Day 8 of the Tampa Poker Classic, highlighted by Event 3 which had plenty of play. It took nearly 12 hours to go from 56 remaining to a winner when Glyn Griffis claimed an outright win for more than $33,000.
That tournament concluded the live coverage for Wednesday as we prepare to kick off the $300,000 Guarantee Tampa Poker Classic on Thursday with the first of three starting flights. The $1,650 buy-in tournament is expected to draw the best from Florida and around the country. We will have wall-to-wall coverage of the Main Event starting Thursday morning.
That is not the only business we have on Thursday. We also have the return of the $570 Pot Limit Omaha tournament as they play their final table down to a winner.
We also have another $200 Main Event satellite running on Thursday with five seats guaranteed.
