Event 6: Schmitz Out 11th

$300 Omaha H/L 8B (Re-Entry)

Level 16:  Limits 4k/8k

Dale Schmitz got scooped twice and was left short-stacked.  His last chips went in against two players who checked the flop of AhKsKd. When the Qs came on the turn, Bryan Scofield checked and the other player folded.

Bryan had AQ97 and Dale had AJ72.  The river was a brick and Bryan took the pot with aces-up and better kicker.  Dale hit the rail in 11th place.

That prompted a redraw for the final ten, who are moving to a single table.

Event 6: More Chips for Schmitz

$300 Omaha H/L 8B (Re-Entry)

Level 15:  Limits 3k/6k

During the previous level, a lady in seat 2 got all her chips in the middle pre-flop with two opponents on the side.  They battled to the river with a board of Jd7s3h7cKs.

Dale Schmitz (Tampa, FL) fired one last bet and his opponent folded  Dale showed 4 3 3 2 for treys-full to take the side pot.  The lady couldn’t produce anything better than two pair, so she hit the rail.

Dale split the pot on the next hand and chipped up to about 90k.

Mauro is still the chip leader with about 100k.

19 players remain.  Average stack is 33k.
