Day 2 of the Pinktober Poker Open Championship isn’t the only big game in the Poker Room today; we also have Day 1 of the $2,500 Deep Stack at 4 pm with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Players start with 30K out front and the first 12 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 from Level 13 forward. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 8:30 pm.
Event 11 will continue into the evening and come to an end when the nine-handed final table is reached. Those players will bag their chips and return on Monday at 2 pm to play it out.

Jon Miller took home the top prize worth $9,455 and the WPT Trophy at the final table of Event 11 a little past 11 pm tonight after a heads-up final against AJ Kelsall. Here is what he had to say after the win: “Good, I like the tournaments that they run here, the mixed games and everything, so yeah it feels good to get the trophy.”
“For most of the day I was really short, right up until we got to the final two tables, and then from there it was pretty much smooth sailing. I just was making a lot of hands and turning up the aggression, and there were a lot of good players, but I made the right hands at the right time,” said Miller when he was asked about his path through the final stages of the tournament.
“I like how they run all the mixed games one right after the other, it makes it really convenient to travel down here for all of those, and make sure I get all of them in. The crowds are always really good, the tournaments are always really well run, I just like the property in general,” said Miller when he was asked about his tournament series experience down here in Tampa.

Kicking off the new week with something for out limit fans. Event 11 gets underway at 10 am with a $400 buy-in Omaha 8/Stud 8 tournament, mixing up the games every eight hands and splitting some pots.
Players start with 12,000 in their stack and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm.
This is a one-day tournament which means we will be handing out a WPT trophy at the end of the day.
