Ross Corless

Ross Corless open-shipped for 650,000 from early position and Thomas Robertson called next to act.

“Well I had fun,” Corless laughed with the table.

Phil Krnyaich seemed like he wanted to come along but folded before the rest of the table got out of the way.

Corless: Kh6h
Robertson: AdQh

Corless had two live, suited cards for a chance to double up but Robertson paired his queen on the QdJs3d board to extend his lead. The 7h turn and 7c river finished the board and Corless was eliminated in ninth place.

This is Corless’s second major Tampa final table in a row; he finished the WPO Championship in the top spot.
