A few more friends in today’s field include reigning Signature Poker Series Champion James Kerr, Ricardo Eyzaguirre, Ryan Hogan, Tony March, Tarun Gulati, Yan Jiang, Jeffrey Trudeau Jr, Jacob Naumann, Chad Kitchen, and Ken Fishman.
Hogan is coming off a heater in Hollywood. He finished third in their massive LHPO opener for $116K and finished the series with fourth place in the Championship for another $200,000.

In the last pot before the break on Table 19, Eli Kiwan woke up with a monster in the small blind while two other players picked up slightly lesser big hands.
Kiwan tripled up when his all-in with aces was called in two spots, the other two holding pocket kinds. The rockets held and he stacked up to 111,800 while no one else is above 100K.

The second flight of the 2025 WPO Championship gets underway at 11 am and the $1,700 buy-in tournament will surpass its $300,000 guarantee at some point today. We had 101 entries in Flight A and only 99 more to hit the spot.
They’ll start with huge 40K starting stacks and all levels last 40 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 5:45 pm.
Flight B will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and survivors will return on Sunday at noon for Day 2.
