The 2025 Tampa Poker Classic Championship drew 396 entries over three starting flights. The $1,700 buy-in tournament turned a $300,000 guarantee into a prize pool worth $594,000. After dominating the late stages of Day 2, Johnny Bromberg walked away with his first Tampa title for $90,019 and the TPC trophy in a three-way deal.

This is Bromberg’s sixth tournament win in the last 12 months, including three at our friend’s house in Hollywood (two a few weeks ago) and his second WSOP Circuit ring. This cash put him over $1.3 million in career earnings with a big summer ahead and riding a heater.

After the huge double elimination at the final table, the last three players worked out a deal to divide up the remaining prize pool.

Johnny Bromberg had a small chip lead over Jason Block and took the top spot for $90,019 plus the TPC trophy. Block earned $89,802 for his runner-up finish and Michael Morton took home $76,558.

Daniel Califour moved all in for 1,225,000 and Jason Block called. John Tyler Kennedy went all in as well for 1,425,000 and Block called for a huge three-way pot.

Kennedy was dominating preflop but Block, with the bigger stack, hit aces up on the flop. The turn and river finished the board and Block had a double knockout.

Daniel Califour opened to 200,000 from under the gun, it folded to John Tyler Kennedy in the big blind, he moved all in for 505,000 and Califour called.

Action folded to Drew Dodge on the button, he moved all for 475,000 and Michael Morton moved all in over the top from the small blind to isolate.

Sanjay Dulabh opened to 125,000 from under the gun and Johnny Bromberg called from the cutoff.

“I know you’re strong,” Bromberg told Dulabh. “You didn’t go all-in.”

“But I’m going to out flop you.”

The flop came and Dulabh bet 125,000.

“Bad news brother,” Bromberg said and called.

The turn came and Dulabh moved all in for 575,000.

“Bad news brother.” Bromberg said again as he called.

Dulabh was ahead preflop with his threes but Bromberg flopped an open-ended straight draw that got there on the turn. The river finished the board and Dulabh was eliminated in seventh place.

Jason Block opened to 125,000 from middle position and John Tyler Kennedy three-bet to 300,000 from the small blind. Sanjay Dulabh moved all in for 445,000 from the big blind to get a fold from Block and quick call from Kennedy.
