We put seven-card stud on the schedule and not just any brand but Triple Stud. Players in Event 5 will need to show some talent in three games; Stud. Stud 8, and Razz. It will be a great group of players min-clicking to a champ.

Players start with 25,000 chips and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. The 30-minute dinner break comes around at 5:30 pm and they come back to find out who takes home the Event 5 trophy.

The $400 Limit Omaha 8 tournament drew a huge 90-entry crowd for WPO Event 3, one of our biggest turnouts for this special game. We had WSOP bracelet winners and non-hold’em experts and Michael Tadlock was at the top of the list when the last five players made a deal.

He earned $4,622 and the WPO trophy courtesy of his chip lead, the biggest cash of Tadlock’s career.

While the big Day 2 restart of WPO Event 1 was playing down on one side of the Poker Room, we had the $200 Bankroll Builder going on the other, with poker and football keeping things lively. After a long day, Daniel Kasper captured the title and $5,481 in a six-way deal.

This is Kasper’s first Tampa title after several close calls that include a 2021 Pinktober Poker Open $600 NLH event runner-up finish and fourth place in the $600 Deep Stack during the 2022 WPT Tampa series.
