Seth Berger is among the familiar faces still in the field as Flight 1H plays down late into the night at the SPS series here at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.

Berger holds more than $1.5 million in career earnings with many big cashes on the big tours around the country including the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour, and Seminole Hard Rock stops across Florida. He also has three tournament victories to his credit.

We’ll keep an eye on Berger throughout the evening to see if he advances to Day 2 on Sunday from this last staring flight of Event 1.

Flight G blew right past the end of day bubble with not a single hand of hand-for-hand play needed for a quick end to the flight this evening.

The chip leader when the dust settled was Lu Yu with 1,218,000, which puts him among the chip leaders when play resumes at 1 pm on Sunday for Day 2.

With the remaining field about one table away from the end of day  bubble in Flight G, a pair of notables seated at the same table are Donny Maloney and Amie Martini.

Maloney made a deep run in Event 3 two nights ago at the Omaha 8OB tournament, finishing in fourth place. His career tournament earnings stand above $1.6 million. The World Poker Tour Champions Club member claimed his title at the WPT Borgata Poker Open back in 2019.

Martini was the runner-up in last night’s Big O tournament, which was good for $6,500 score. Martini is a cash-games mixed-games specialist, and her career tournament earnings stand above $143,000. Martini has one tournament win to her credit here at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.
