Doug Marro open-shipped for 560,000 from under the gun and it folded to Frank Weigel. He called in the small blind and Vincent Cafone quickly folded his big.

Harry Binda Jr opened to 100,000 from the button, Aaron Thivyanathan moved all in for about 500K and Binda Jr quickly called.

Thivyanathan was in bad shape but paired his four on the flop to take the lead. He made two pair, sevens and fours, on the turn but was counterfeit on the river. Both players made aces up but kickers played so Thivyanathan was eliminated in ninth place.

Action folded to Doug Marro in the hijack and he moved all in for 305,000. Anthony Bertuccio reshipped from the cutoff for 885,000 to get folds from the button and blinds.

The 2023 Pinktober Poker Open Championship began with 298 but it’s down to its last night and the final table returns to the Poker Room at noon to begin playing down to our Champion.
Brett Apter is a tough player at the top of the counts but there are no soft spots at this table. It’s a tough lineup that will make for a fun day of poker.
Cards go back in the air and people, friends, and fans are welcome to come down to the Poker Room to watch some great poker played out.

The final table is set and the nine remaining players will return tomorrow at noon to play for the PPO Championship title. WSOP bracelet winner Brett Apter leads the return with former Tampa champ Frank Weigel not far behind.
They will finish out the last 15 minutes of Level 22 and blind will increase to 60 minutes per levels. They will stay that way until the Championship is heads up when it changes to 30 minutes.
Everyone is guaranteed at least $5,800 with the PPO Champion set to earn $60,190 plus the Guitar trophy.

Action folded to Curtis King in the small blind and he moved all in for 115,000.
“I don’t think I even look,” Anthony Belluccio said in the big blind. He called, King showed , and Bertuccio peeled for two live cards.
The flop was safe for King but Bertuccio paired his ten on the turn. The board finished with the river, King was eliminated in tenth place, and the final table was set.
