The last break came to an end and tournament staff immediately broke a table to get them down to 32 players. They will work through two more levels before survivors bag for Day 2 on Sunday at noon.

David DiBernardi continues to lead with 515,000 while Patrick Murphy (383,000), Karl Manouchakian (325,000), and Charles Johnson (313,000) have a shot to get to the top.

Flight B is close to hitting the last four tables of the day as David DiBernardi paces the field. He might lap them.

The three-time Tampa champ, including a WSOP Circuit victory, has by far the biggest stack in the game with 559,000. If we bagged up right now, he would have the overall lead by more than 100K. And he still has two hours to run it up.

Registration closed for Flight B of the WPO Championship with another 145 today putting the combined total at 240. Only 94 new ones are needed and it will get there tomorrow during Flight C which kicks off at 11 am.

Flight B will play through 14 levels and survivors will join the 20 who already advanced to Day 2 on Sunday at noon.

The players were away from the tables at dinner break and we noticed Adam Jaffe and Zachary Eichenbaum’s seats were empty while seat 8 was stacked over 350K. Turns out Charles Johnson won a four-way all-in to send three players out, they he went to dinner with the chip lead.

We are back underway after the dinner break and registration is closed for Flight B. The last flight of the Championship starts tomorrow at 11 am and they should easily surpass the $500,000 guarantee.

David DiBernardi opened the action from the hijack and Matt Lea three-bet to 12,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds folded and DiBernardi moved all in for 48,800. Lea thought for a minute and called.
