James Calderaro

James Calderaro battled back to nearly even the count with Ken Fishman. Fishman opened to 100,000 from his button, Calderaro moved all in, and Fishman called.

Calderaro: AdTs
Fishman: 5d5c

They were racing with nearly identical stacks and Calderaro took the lead when he paired his ace on the AhKh6h flop. The 7h turn gave Fishman some chop outs, but the 8c river sent the huge pot to Calderaro.

Fishman was left with only 20K, found two tiny doubles, but was sent out on the third hand. He earned $23,560 for his runner-up finish while Calderaro won $35,350 plus a seat in the PPO Championship.

Calderaro: AcTs
Fishman: Kc7c

Calderaro was ahead but needed to dodge the two live, suited cards of Fishman. The 5h3h2h flop was safe for Calderaro but Fishman paired the 7d turn to take the lead. The 6d river finished the hand and Fishman pulled a big double heads-up.

Both players checked the Ah4d3d flop and the turn was 4h. Mohammed put in another 80,000 and Calderaro pushed out a big stack of 25K chips. Mohammed called at risk for 300,000 total.

Mohammed: Qh7h
Calderaro: Ad8d

Calderaro was ahead with two pair aces and four with a diamond redraw and Mohammed needed a river heart to double up. The dealer put out the 7d river and Mohammed was eliminated in fourth place.

Chervin was in great shape with the kings against an over card but Fishman paired immediately on the AdQc7c flop. Neither the 2h turn nor the Tc river could help Chervin and he was sent out in fifth place.
