Shawn Cunix
Shawn Cunix is at it again. The WPT Jacksonville champ is running up a stack and looked like the leader with 165,000 at the first break.
While Cunix picked up a nice score for the WPT win, his biggest cash came in 2014 when he finished third in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship for $748,313.

Andre Akkari
The count moved over 300 in Level 2 and we found a couple big names from inside and outside poker.
Andre Akkari is a Brazilian superstar, one of the more popular players you will find in a tournament field. He won his first WSOP bracelet in 2011 in front of one of the most fun final table crowds you’ll witness.
Colby Covington doesn’t make his living a the poker tables, he earns his pay in the ring. A professional MMA fighter, his record is 16-2 and he held the UFC Welterweight title for a time.

Chris Limo (left), Wally Maddah (center), and Edgardo Rosario (right)
We found another talented set of players sitting together. This time we have Chris Limo, Wally Maddah, and Edgardo Rosario occupying three seats in a row at Table 77 to create a tough path for the rest fo the players there.
Limo is coming off a 15th place finish in the WPT Poker Showdown Championship in April and said he’d like to improve his finish this time around.
He’s off to a good start. Limo limp-shoved for 15,200 from the button after Rosario raised in the big blind.
“Double me up, I want to gamble,” Limo said.
Limo: Rosario:
“Give me two fives!” Limo pleaded with the dealer.
The flop was a good start and his two pair kings and fives held after the turn and river.

Chad Eveslage (left), Mike Beasley (center), and Ryan Van Sanford
The stakes are high today but that doesn’t mean you still can’t have a little fun. We found the trio above joking with each other in a tournament with a prize pool over $2.5 million already.
Chad Eveslage, Mike Beasley, and Ryan Van Sanford are having a good time early in Flight B. They have the talent and success to be able to do both, have a laugh and build a stack.
Eveslage has two SHRP titles so far this year including a $25K High Roller win during the Poker Showdown in Hollywood. Beasley owns a Rock N Roll Poker Open trophy and Van Sanford has three WSOP Circuit rings. Those three have a combined $5.9 million in career earnings so they can enjoy their tournament as they please.
$3,500 WPT Tampa Championship $2,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure Level 1: 100/200 with a 200 ante Day 1B Entries: 191 (Total: 739)
As anticipated, the start-of-day entry count for Flight B of the WPT Tampa Championship was enough to push the prize pool over the $2,000,000 guarantee. We had 191 when cards went in the air for a combined 739 for both flights and the prize pool move up to $2.3 million with a ton of time to grow.

The second flight of the WPT Tampa Championship gets underway at 11 am and we will have a big milestone the second cards go in the air. We expect enough players will be registered at the start to push the prize pool over the $2,000,000 guarantee and push it higher throughout the day.
Just like Flight A, players will sit down to 40,000 starting stacks and play hour-long levels on Day 1 and 2. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 around 9:15 pm with unlimited re-entries available. There is a dinner break schedule after Level 6 and play will come to an end after Level 11.
Anyone with chips at that point will bag them up and be set for a Day 2 return tomorrow at noon.
