The first break has come and gone and cards are back in the air with the blinds up. The entry count clicked up a few spots while they were gone with more expected.

Marcus Huewitt is the big stack in early action after running his 30K starting stack up to 104,700 in three levels. Siddharth Siddharth has the second biggest stack with 74,500 and a few others hovering with double starting stacks.

Blinds are up along with the entry count. The 50+ in the game makes the nut for the day with 150 needed to hit the $50,000 guarantee and it’s a virtual lock with two big weekend flights left to go. That’s a good number as players get moving towards the afternoon.

Fernando Rodriguez is among the early crowd and ready to continue a successful year. He had his two biggest scores in the last nine months with a $74K fourth-place finish in our Winter Poker Open Main Event and a $200K win in the opening event of the LHPO series in Hollywood.

Tournament staff put cards in the air for Day 1A of Super Stacks Event 1 with 18 entries and players in line to get in the game. With registration open until the start of Day 2 and a big weekend planned, this one is going to get big.

Our first-ever September Super Stacks is set to kick off this morning, a series packed with a lot of chips and slow structures that our players will love. We get things underway with Flight A of Event 1, the $400 buy-in tournament with a $50,000 guarantee and three starting flights.

Players start with 30,000 deep stacks and all Day 1 levels last 40 minutes, going up to 60 minutes on Day 2 and 90 from Level 27 forward. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Day 2 on Sunday at 11 am. Each opening flight will play through 14 levels and survivors will bag up for a Day 2 return.

Cards go in the air at 10 am and we will be here all series keeping an eye as players make their way through the tournaments.
