Dan Wilson

The Pinktober Poker Open kicked off a new week with the popular Seniors 50+ Event on Monday. The tournament crushed the $10,000 guarantee with 134 entries and Dan Wilson walked away with the title along with $5,223 after a five-way deal.

They combined to create a prize pool worth $27,470 and the last 14 players took some of it home. They hit the money bubble and their dinner was delayed to get down to the magic number.

Once there, the tournament flew down to the final table and the last five players decided they had played long enough. Wilson took the lead at the final table in a big hand with Bill Isbell and took the title along with his negotiated $5,223 payout.

Heneghan was dominated with the smaller ace and missed the 7c4s4h flop. The Kh turn gave him the first part of a backdoor flush and the Th got him there to send Cruz out in eighth place.
