The big Event 1 final flight wasn’t the only game in town today. Event 3 was the latest WSOP Circuit ring event and it drew 190 entries to the Turbo tournament. In the end, local regular David Tuthill outlasted the field to take home the title for his second WSOPC win.

Tuthill defeated Jesse Carter heads-up after the lead swapped several times. Carter took home $9,438 for his runner-up finish and Tuthill earned $15,272.

There are two tournaments running in the Event Center and both are moving along at a nice clip. The $400 Turbo NLH game is down to 34 players and close to the money bubble with 29 getting paid.

Those still in contention include Patrick Eskandar and David Tuthill along with Event 2 PLO final table members Jessica Francis and Joseph Orsino. Reigning Tampa Winter Poker Open Champion David Moses is still in the game working on his second WSOP Circuit ring.

While Flight E of Event 1 was filling most of the Event Center, WSOP Circuit Event 3 pulled in a nice crowd of its own. The $400 Turbo NLH tournament drew 190 entries to create a prize pool worth $62,700 and the last 29 spots will be paid.

A min-cash is worth $610 while the Event 3 champ will walk away with $15,272 and a shiny WSOPC ring.

The already packed Event Center is about to get a little busier with the introduction of a new WSOP Circuit tournament. Event 3 is a $400 Turbo NLH with a one-day structure that will award another ring later this evening.

Players will start with 15,000 chips and levels will last 20 minutes from start to finish. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 6:50 pm with unlimited re-entries available. They will take a 30-minute dinner break after Level 12 and return to play it out for the ring.
