Event 12 – Seniors Champion Seth Bobet

While Day 2 of the WSOP Circuit Main Event played out in the background, the Seniors event attracted a massive field of 532 entries, creating a total prizepool worth $106,400. And the last player standing was Seth Bobet of Orlando, Florida.

Two of Bobet’s close friends were on the rail for the final table, and they exploded in celebration when Bobet won the final hand. This is not only the first WSOP Circuit ring for Bobet, but the $16,354 he won is the biggest cash of his career.

“It feels really good,” said Bobet thru exuberant laughter. “The final table was awesome. I just got lucky. I got some good hands. The last one, I got six-two and just went for the ring.”

Bobet ended his interview with praise for his heads-up opponent, James Gladwell.

“He played a heck of a game,” said Bobet. “He got his money in good, but I got lucky.”
