The clock hit 11 am and tournament staff put cards in the air for the final flight of our inaugural WSOP Circuit Main Event. There are 152 entries to start and the tournament should hit the $1,000,000 guarantee before it hits Level 2.

Last Saturday we have more than 1,000 entries come through the Event Center doors. While we might not get that big for the last flight of the Main Event, it won’t be far off either. Flight A drew 450 entries on Friday to leave the field only 221 away from hitting the $1,000,000 guarantee and it will get there early.

From there the prize pool will grow until they shut down registration and we set the number for our first ever WSOP Circuit Main Event.

Players will sit down to 30,000 starting stacks and play 40 minute levels on Day 1. Late registration is available until the start of Level 13 at 8:45 pm with a single re-entry option if they bust out.

Flight B will continue through the end of Level 15 and anyone with chips will be set for a Day 2 return on Sunday at noon.

It’s the last Saturday of the series and we expect a lot of people and a lot of action.

Flight A came to an end with 88 players remaining and Isaac Kempton bagged an even 500,000 to hold the Flight A lead at the end. Other big stacks include Tyler Phillips (385,000), Tom Nguyen (382,500), Brad Sailor (328,000), and Aaron Massey (310,500).

These players will return on Sunday at noon for Day 2 and will combine with the survivors from tomorrow’s Flight B.

Flight A is down to Level 15, the last of the evening, and eleven tables remain. They might drop one more over the next 40 minutes but action should slow.

Aaron Massey is another player moving his stack north and the three-time WSOP Circuit champ is sitting with around 360,000 late in the day.

Flight A is dropping down at a quicker rate than expected and they should hit double digits remaining by the time they bag up. Michael Wang did his part to make the field shorter.

With the board reading , Wang bet 28,000 which was enough to cover his opponent on the button. She quickly called and Wang was behind with against . Wang had second pair with a gutshot against top pair and the river completed his straight. He sent his opponent out late in the day and moved his stack up to 179,500.

Main Event players returned from the last break of the evening and registration closed for Flight A. It drew 450 on the nose to put the tournament more than two-thirds of the way towards the $1,000,000 guarantee. Only 221 more are needed in Flight B and it should get there early.

Flight A will play three more levels and survivors will bag up for a Day 2 return on Sunday.

Time is running out to get in Flight A of the WSOP Circuit Main Event. They are playing out the last few minutes of Level 12 and a break will follow. Once they return for Level 13, registration will close for the first of two flights.

Players are coming in and players are going out. Michael Tait is still with us but he put his stack on the line after dinner break. With the board reading , he moved all in for 28,700 and his opponent tanked for a long while before he folded. Tait stacked up the pot and stayed in the game.

Robert Mizrachi was a late reg player but he’s moving in the right direction. The four-time WSOP bracelet winner nearly doubled his stack and setting himself up for a nice run.
