Minaya: AhJc
Fishman: As5s

Fishman was in a lot of trouble but found no help as the dealer spread the KhQc3d4s6c run out ended his tournament.

Tournament staff paused the clock and the Main Event final table nine are set to return tomorrow at noon to play it out.

Chip counts and seat assignments to come shortly.

Peter Vitantonio

Manny Minaya opened to 70,000 from the button and Peter Vitantonio shipped for 830,000 from the small blind. David Moses folded the big and Minaya called.

Minaya: AhKd
Vitantonio: 7d7s

The flop came Kh9h7c and they both hit a piece. Vitantonio’s set of sevens was still best but Minaya added a flush draw on the 6h turn.

“Heart!” Minaya requested.

The river was 2h.

“There it is!” Minaya exclaimed as his flush sent Vinantonio out in 11th place.

Manny Minaya – 2,200,000 (73 bb)
Peter Vitantonio – Eliminated in 11th Place ($12,516)

While that was going on, TK Miles picked up a huge double. He was heads up with Duff Charette to a Qs9s4c flop. Charette checked from the big blind, Miles bet 75,000 and Charette. The turn was 6c, Charette checked again, and Miles moved all in for 620,000. Charette thought for a moment and called.

Miles: JcTc
Charette: KcQd

Charette was ahead to set the final table but Miles spiked the Qc on the river. The club flush sent the huge pot to Miles.

TK Miles – 1,450,000 (48 bb)
Duff Charette – 825,000 (28 bb)

Michael Cohen

Action folded to Michael Cohen in the cutoff and he open-shipped for 330,000. Mark Scacewater (button) and Nick Mann (small blind) folded before big blind TK Miles asked for a count. He thought for a minute and called with a bigger stack.

Miles: 6d6s
Cohen: Ah3h

Miles was ahead, Cohen needed help, and he picked up a flush draw on the Js9h5h flop. The 4s turn was no help to Cohen and he was out in 13th place after the 5d river.

TK Miles – 825,000 (28 bb)
Michael Cohen – Eliminated in 13th Place ($10,598)

While Cohen was being knocked out on Table 21, John Dolan was unable to bounce back his short stack and busted in 12 place.

Minaya: KcKd
Dolan: AhKh

Manny Minaya – 1,440,000 (48 bb)
John Dolan – 175,000 (6 bb)

Vitantonio: AdKd
Nashaat: 3d3h

Nashaat needed his small pair to hold but Vitantonio took the lead on the Kh8h4c flop. Neither the Jc turn nor the 6h river could save Nashaat’s tournament.

Peter Vitantonio – 1,050,000 (42 bb)
Antonious Nashaat – Eliminated in 14th Place ($10,598)
