Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Poker Classic Event 2 champion, Nicholas Raio

Event 2 was the perfect tournament on the Tampa Poker Classic schedule for those looking for some Sunday poker to close out the weekend. It drew players from the Event 1 restart as well as those who missed out. It created a talented final table and Nicholas Raio beat them all for his first career tournament win.

The tournament drew 116 entries to easily surpass the $20,000 guaranteed prize pool and pushed it up to $38,300. The last 12 spots paid out and it took a while to get there. The bubble lasted for nearly an entire level after Wally Maddah exited in 14th place.

The short-handed tournament had a nine-handed final table and Elanit Hasas lead them all when they joined as one. Hyndi Khomutetsky made another SHRP final table but she had to settle for a seventh-place finish.

Anthony Dianaty was down to three big blinds late in the tournament, hit the final table in second position, and cashed out for second-place money after a nice spin up.

Raio earned $11,040 for the title along with the Tampa Poker Classic guitar trophy. It was his first recorded live poker win, after several close calls, and his earnings moved further over $100,000.
