Thomas Jackson

Having whittled all the way down to just 170,000 chips, Thomas Jackson found himself in a tough spot. After posting an ante and paying his big blind, he claimed just 100,000 chips behind. The hand began with Toby Boas raising to 120,000 total. It was on Sumit Mantaporn in the small blind and he called. Next up was severely short stacked Jackson who shoved for 160,000 total. Boas and Mantaporn called and competed for a side pot.

Flop: Qh9h5s — Both players checked.

Turn: Qh9h5s7h — Mantaporn checked and Boas bet 245,000. Mantaporn quickly got out of the way and Boas and Jackson tabled their holdings.

Boas: 9s9c for a set
Jackson: [j]5c for a pair of fives

Event 4: 100K Chip in Play

Event 4: $350 Deep Stack, $100K Gtd
Level 28: 30,000/60,000/10,000 | Payouts
Players Remaining: 8/546

100,000 chips are now play as the average stack sits just about 20 big blinds.

Despite an average stack hovering around 24 big blinds, it’s been an uneventful final table thus far. There are two extremely short stacks — Chris Whitney with 10 big blinds and Thomas Jackson with three big blinds — so we expect some movement soon.

Players are in the midst of a quick break while tournament staff colors up some of the 5,000 chips and trades them for 100,000 chips.

Event 4: Rasam Mohammadian — 10th Place ($2,129)

Event 4: $350 Deep Stack, $100K Gtd

Rasam Mohammadian

Rasam Mohammadian shoved from early position for about 230,000. Chip leader David Prociak called from late position and it folded to Timothy Forsberg on the button. He jammed for more and the blinds got out of the way. It was back on Prociak and he called having an opportunity to bust both Forsberg and Mohammadian.

Prociak: JcJh
Forsberg: AhKh
Mohammadian: AcJd

Runout: Qh5d4s6hKs

Forsberg spiked a king on the river to bust Mohammadian 10th and win both the side and main pots in the process.

Ryan Luker opened it for a raise to 125,000. Liz McKane shoved for just over 400,000 from his direct left. It folded back to Luker.

“I’m behind,” he reluctantly said peeking at his cards.

Luke had just over 300,000 behind and called it off.

Coggin: KsKh
Boas: AsKc

Runout: QdJdTh5h3h

There was no sweat. Boas smacked the flop hitting Broadway. The turn and river brought no help to Coggin and he busted in 15th place.
