On the third round of hand-for-hand play, an unknown player got all-in while John Pizano and a single opponent played a side pot. On a 9s8c5hAs board, Pizano checked from the small blind, his opponent bet from the button and Pizano called. The river fell the Qh. Pizano checked again and the button opponent checked back. Frustratingly, Pizano tabled JhTc for the nuts straight. The all-in player turned over Kd8d and was no good. He busted and the bubble burst sending the final 81 players into the money.
