With two hours of play under their belts, players in Event 9 are on their first 15-minute break of the day. Since kick off with 17 entries, the field has grown steadily and sits at 89 for now. Seminole Hard Rock Poker ambassador Wally Maddah is among those who made a late arrival.
Alan Phillips is back at it following a victory in yesterday’s 2pm $150 turbo. Phillips bested over 200 players in the event to earn his second Seminole Hard Rock Poker trophy along with $4,900 and a $1,650 Championship seat.
Barely 12 hours later, Phillips is back at the Seminole Hard Rock and in search of another victory.

Kicking off the Monday action is Event 9 which is underway now. The tournament is a $250 deep stack no limit hold’em event. Players begin with 20,000 chips and will log 30-minute levels throughout the event. Late registration and unlimited re-entry is available until the start of Level 9 which translates into roughly 3:30pm.
