Cards are in the air for the 2023 Pinktober Poker Open Championship with 25 entries at the start and many more expected for the $1,100 buy-in tournament. The first goal is the $200,000 guarantee and build from there.

Pinktober Poker Open Event 3 was the last warmup tournament on the schedule before kicking off the Championship. It drew 256 entries to beat its $50,000 guarantee and Nick Scholz took the top spot with an outright win for $16,860.
Scholz began the final table among the leaders but dropped to less than five big blinds when they were three-handed. Former Tampa champ went out in third and Scholz was down 7-to-1 versus Alexander Grassia but came all the way back to capture the title.
