We had a huge turnout of the Sunday one-day event with 296 entries in the $400 No Limit Hold’em tournament. It began with a $20,000 guarantee but they nearly quintupled that when they settled on a prize pool worth $99,160.

The last 37 players will make some money later this evening with $600 for a min-cash and $21,890 for the Event 8 champ.

Closing out the busy Sunday schedule with another Omaha tournament, this time featuring four variants of the game. Event 10 is a $400 Turbo PLO tournament that will rotate between Pot Limit Omaha, Pot Limit Omaha 8, Five-Card PLO, and Big O. Players will need to show skill in all four games to succeed.

Players start with 20,000 in their stacks and all levels last 20 minutes in the turbo format. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 8:55 pm.

They will zip right along and keep going until we hand out another trophy.

Diaz jumped out of her seat, leading with her queens in the massive pot, and asked for it to hold. The 5s turn was safe, but the two-out Th came on the river to send the pot to Mo while Diaz and their other opponent were eliminated.

There were unconfirmed reports of someone folding a ten, making that the case ten, but a long shot KO either way.
