In a heads-up pot between Manny Minaya and David Tuthill with about 300K in the middle, the flop came 9h7d2s and Minaya checked from middle position. Tuthill bet 85,000 and Minaya called.

The turn was 3h, Minaya checked, Tuthill bet 200,000 and Minaya called. The board finished with the 7c and Minaya checked again. Tuthill used a time chip then bet 600,000 leaving only a few chips behind. Minaya waited less than the 30 seconds allowed and tossed in a chip to call.

Tuthill showed QhQd and took the pot after the Minaya tabled his ThTc. Tuthill added another boost to his stack while Minaya was down to 130,000 and gone soon after.

The second big tournament kicking off at 2 pm is the $10,000 High Roller, something for the big bankrolls still in town and our local high rollers.

Players start with huge 100K stacks and all Day 1 levels last 40 minutes, going up to 90 at the final table. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 10 pm.

The two-day tournament will play down to its nine-handed final table this evening and those players will return tomorrow to the Poker Room to play it down to our $10K High Roller champ.

Aaron Olshan was down to 290,000 and got his chips in the middle against David Jackson in a tough spot.

Olshan ran into a cooler and blanked the Jh9c5s flop. Jackson made a set of kings on the Kd turn while Olshan picked up a gutshot straight draw.

That got there on the Tc river to give him a king-high straight.

Event 29 players will start with 20K stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 6:55 pm following the 40-minute dinner break.

They will play down into the winner later this evening, one of the last WPT trophy winners of the series.

The two-day $1,700 buy-in Event 26 field filled in nicely and the tournament nearly tripled its $75,000 guarantee. They played down through 15 levels yesterday and 18 players return this afternoon at 1 pm in the money and trying to take the $60K top prize.

Claudio Piedrabuena leads the way back but his tough competition includes Raminder Singh going for his third trophy of the series, and Ken Fishman going for his second.

Cards go back in the air at 1 pm and we will hit some highlights along the way while tracking the Championship.
