Event 9 reached the eighth level of the day and time is running out if you want to join in the fun. The field is still short of the $100,000 guarantee so there’s a chance there will be some free money up for grabs as well.

Jeremy Becker

This is a $2,200 buy-in tournament, there are a lot of notables taking part, and even with the smaller field, it will not be an easy title to take.

Some familiar faces so far include Jeremy Becker, Jake Ferro, Tony March, Matthew Leecy, Justin Zaki, Ryan Hogan, Kevin Ragusa, Jerry Silva, and Scott Blackmon.

We have a little less than 90 minutes remaining to get in the game and the field is still shy of the $100,000. Might be a good time to take a shot.

Event 9: Fun, Tough Table

$2,200 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 5:  300/500 with a 500 ante
Entries;  36

Event 9 players returned from their first break with 36 entries in the tournament and a few more needed to hit the $100,000 guarantee.

We noticed a tough lineup on Table 11, stocked with talent and Tampa legends. Sitting around and grinding; Karl Manouchakian, Marsha Wolak, Jason Block, Ken O’Donnell, Ken Fishmen, and Filipp Khavin. If that wasn’t tough enough, they were joined by Jose Reyes and Tarun Gulati after the break.
