Event 15 Flight A: Bankroll Friendly

$130 No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$50,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 1:  100/200 with a 200 ante

The next multi-flight event on the SPS schedule is a great one for all bankrolls and a ton of value. It has a $130 buy-in with a $50,000 guarantee and five starting flights.

With a different twist, so everyone can get involved, we will have one flight each for today, Tuesday, and Wednesday, then another on Sunday and Monday. Day 2 will run on Tuesday alongside the Championship, making it a fun day.

  • $50,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
  • Players begin with 20,000 in chips
  • Levels 1-18 last 20 minutes; Levels 19+ last 30 minutes
  • Late registration/re-entry available until start of Level 7 (9:15pm)
  • Day 1 will end when 10% of field remains

Event 13: Grinding Down

$400 T.O.E. (Re-Entry)
Structure | Payouts
Level 13:  5,000/10,000 Limits
Players Remaining:  22 of 81

Pritpal Virdee

The $400 T.O.E. tournament is slowly making its way deeper into the day with 22 remaining and 11 getting paid. They still have a lot of work to do to get there but they’ll be hunting the money after dinner break.

Among those still in contention we have current SPS Leaderboard leader Pritpal Virdee, three-time Hollywood mix champ Sam Sternfield, Carey Rosenthal, and Alexander Orlov.

Event 14 Flight A: Drew Dodge Leads

$700 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 7:  500/1,000 with a 1,000 ante
Flight A Entries:  88

Drew Dodge

We didn’t expect to find any massive stacks after six levels of play, the slow deep structures meant not many would get out of line at this stage, but we found a few having a good start to the tournament.

Drew Dodge is the early frontrunner, leading the field with 124,700 and tablemate James Leonard isn’t far behind with 120,000 while next-door neighbor Kevin Blewitt has 119,700.

Flight A will cruise through two more hours of play plus another break before we close registration and 7:45 pm.

Karl Manouchakian

Flight A is up to 77 entries, virtually locking up the $100,000 guarantee, baring an act of nature (looks skyward), and it’s a fun group in the field so far.

Some earlier friends include Karl Manouchakian, Chad Kitcen, Gabe Fuller, Manny Minaya, Riley Price, Ryan Hogan, Anthony Bertuccio, and Fred Paradis.

Flight A Entries:  55

Flight A of SPS Event 14 made it through the first three levels of the day, had a little breather away from the tables, and now back underway with 55 entries so far. That is dead on the number to reach the guarantee (55 needed per flight) so we should see the $100,000 guarantee crushed.
