Registration closed for Flight F of WPO Event 1 with another 219 entries taking the combined total up to 1,006 fo the tournament. The prize pool is $331,980 with one more flight to go tomorrow morning at 11 am.

Flight G will continue until 28 players remain and survivors will bag chips for a Day 2 return on Sunday at 11 am. Players must bag chips to cash in the tournament.

There were no runaway leaders found during the break, a lot of players hovering in 200K territory, but we had two players trying to pull away.

Erick Espinoza leads the field last with 275,000 while Itzak Shulmaister is not far behind with 271,000.

There isn’t long to catch those two with only 52 players remaining and 27 advancing to Day 2. Time to make some moves.

Flight E will continue until 27 players remain and survivors will return on Sunday for Day 2 at 11 am. Players must bag chips to cash in the tournament.

Level 8 rolled around and the clock is ticking if you want to be a part of Level E. They will close out this level, take a 15-minute break, and registration will shutdown at 3:30 pm.

The Flight E crowd continues to grow, pushing the prize pool up to $241,890 this afternoon with two huge flights left to go. If you want to avoid any possible delay tomorrow, it would be best to grab your seat as soon as possible.

A few friends in the field include Walter Thornton (celebrating his birthday in the Poker Room. Happy Birthday!), Bud Waggoner, Barbara Cardin, Kevin Blewitt, Terri-Anne Crawford, and Eli Kiwan.

Cardin is not only a familiar friend in the Poker Room, but she is also a newly published author.
