After an early position limper, Justin Zaki raises to 7,500 and Marc Lowe (pictured) moves all in. Action folds back to Zaki, who quickly calls and it’s off to the races as Zaki tables AsKc and Lowe shows 9c9h.

The flop is Qh2d2h and Lowe’s nines are still in the lead. The 9d on the turn left Zaki drawing dead as Lowe made a full house. The river is the 4s and Lowe takes the pot.

The dealer counts down the chips and confirms that Lowe is all in for 71,600. After Zaki pushes Lowe most of his stack, Lowe doubled up to 148,200 and Zaki is left with just over 3,000.

Flight 2: Manjura’s Full House Scoops

$1,650 No Limit Hold’em WPT Championship

Level 12: 800/1,600/200

Vitor Coelho leads out for 4,500 on the river with the board reading KsKh9sJsQs. Rob Manjura raises to 12,500 and Carter Gent was in the tank for a few moments before calling.

Action was back on Coelho, who thought for a couple minutes before committing the extra 8,000. Manjura tables Kd9d, good for a full house and he scoops the pot. Coelho flashed the 7s, good for a flush, as he mucked his hand. Gent claimed he had a flush as well.

“I thought that was going to be one of my bad beat stories or something,” said Manjura as he collected his chips. “Somebody playing ten-four of spades or something and makes a straight flush.”

Manjura takes the pot and is sitting with 82,000

Flight 2: Lowe Takes One With King-High

$1,650 No Limit Hold’em WPT Championship

Level 12: 800/1,600/200

Vitor Coelho check-calls 8,500 on the turn from Marc Lowe with the board reading Ad8d5c3s.

The river is the Ts and Coelho checks again. Lowe checks back and neither player wants to table their hand. Coelho makes a remark about how he missed and Lowe shows KsQh, good for king-high. Coelho showed 9d7d and mucks his hand.

Flight 2: Lowe vs. Gent

$1,650 No Limit Hold’em WPT Championship

Level 11: 600/1,200/200

Carter Gent raised to 3,000 from early position and Vitor Coelho called on the button. The small blind folded and Marc Lowe three-bet to 9,700 from the big blind. Gent called, Coelho folded, and they were heads-up to a flop of KcQd3s.

Lowe continued with a bet of 7,600 and Gent quickly called. The turn is the Kd and Lowe checks. Gent quickly goes to his chips and bets 12,500.

Lowe takes a few moments before moving all in. Gent asks for a count and the dealer verifies that Lowe is all in for 40,200 total. Gent then goes into the tank for several minutes. He counts out a call, puts his hands in his face, and then sits up in his chair. He double checks his cards one last time before reluctantly pitching them into the muck.

Lowe scoops the pot and increases his chip count to 75,200.

Cong Phan got the last of his chips into the middle in a race situation against Rob Manjura (pictured). Phan was slightly ahead with his 9s9h and was up against Manjura’s KhTs.

The flop put Manjura in the lead as the dealer spread a flop of AsKc4d. The turn and river kept Manjura there as the 8c and 6c were burned and turned.

Phan is sent home, while Majura chips up to 72,000.
