There’s no slowing Flight B down and they only have 27 players remaining with more than 90 minutes left in their day. Flight A finished with 14 of 76 starters and it will be race to see if B goes deeper.

AJ “Doc” Santos wasted no time getting his chips in, his seat emptied, and into the PLO cash games. Wally Maddah, Tom Nguyen, AJ Kelsall, and Karl Manouchakian are still hanging around with chips.

The numbers were crunched and Flight B drew exactly the same number of entries as Flight A this morning. Another 76 were added to the 76 from Flight A to put us on pace to hit the $200,000 Guarantee on Saturday.

They are wasting no time getting their chips mixed up, only 32 of the original 76 starters are still around in Level 10.

Players are back in their seats and we’re still waiting on official numbers for the flight. We know one player who tried his best to up the count by one.

AJ “Doc” Santos is a known commodity in the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa poker room. He’s always having a good time. Santos jumped into Flight B right before the second break and had time for one hand.

And in Doc-style, that one hand was not boring. An opponent moved all-in from the button with Santos in the big blind.

“You moved all-in?” he asked her.

“Ok, let’s go.” he laughed.

Santos was behind but live with against then popped the flop. The turn was a blank and he improved to the overkill tens up on the river.

“I win? Hey, I won!” Santos laughed, though his opponent was not in a joking mood.

Santos planned to double up or re-enter during the break but he’ll have to deal with his instant 40,000.

Flight B players are in their last level with open registration and re-entries with 74 in the game at this time. We expect to pop a few more in their over the next 30 minutes and get to this morning’s numbers.

Karl Manouchakian has a new seat in Event 4 and he’ll be tangling it up with Seminole Hard Rock Tampa ambassador Wally Maddah to his left. Manouchakian picked up a couple final table appearances during the Fall Deep Stacks Poker Series including a fifth-place finish in the $570 event.

The field count clicked up two entries as we get closer to the Flight B number and it doesn’t look like Seminole Hard Rock Tampa ambassador Wally Maddah will be firing a second bullet.

Maddah is well over his 20,000 starting stack and moving towards 35,000 with more than an hour remaining for late registration and/or re-entry. He’s already locked up his WPO Championship seat as part of a final table deal in Event 1, now he’s trying to add another for winning Event 7.

The Flight B count continues to climb but they’ve already lost one regular seat in the crowd when Ryan Dunn had to hit the rail early.

The former SHRP champion three-bet from the cutoff and called all-in after his opponent shoved. Dunn was dominated with versus and the was no help to keep him in the game.

Dunn has taken a few shots during the 2016 WPO but he’s seen more often grinding the great PLO games in the back of the poker room. He’s also a few weeks away from defending his big $2,650 Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open title. Dunn won the event for $140,000 and his biggest career tournament cash.

Another half dozen souls jumped in the game over the last 30 minutes to get us closer to passing this morning’s numbers. The steady climb will get us there before registration is closed for the flight at 10:30pm and we’ll be one step closer to the $200,000 Guarantee.

We found Enos Smith in this evening’s flight and you can never count him out for a deep run. Over the last six months, he has more than a half-dozen tournament cashes with each ending in a final table appearance. Smith is also a former SHRP champion when he won the $200 Big Stack event during the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open.
