Day 2 of the Winter Poker Open Main begins at 12pm at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa. The $1,650 buy-in tournament drew 609 entries smashing the $500,000 guarantee to the tune of a $913,500 prize pool. After three Day 1s playing 15 levels apiece, only 92 are left and they’re jockeying for one of 61 in-the-money places. A min-cash earns $3,289 while the tournament’s champion is reserved a $180,205 first prize.

Bradnon Caputo beat up Day 1B and begins Sunday’s Day 2 as the overwhelming chip leader. He turned his 30,000-chip starting stack into 796,000 and is head and shoulders above the rest of the field.

Michael Collins begins the day second in the counts with 558,000 while Matthew Leecy rounds out the 500,000+ stacks with 518,000.
