We had a big jump in the entry count over the last level with another 30+ joining. Those kinds of surges are generally seen in the smaller events but we had one in the Main Event. That leaves the tournament only a few new players away from pushing the prize pool over $500,000.

Popular regular Manny Minaya was one of them and one of the more successful players in the tournament. He’s one good-sized score from crossing $2 million in career earnings with a lot of big cashes in the past. He owns two WPO guitar trophies from 2014 and 2016, a $2,650 tournament win in Atlantic City for another $222K, a WSOP Circuit Main Event runner-up finish in Tunica, and a deep run in the 2005 WSOP Main Event.
