Monday afternoon on the 2022 Tampa Winter Poker Open schedule bumped up the Deep Stack buy-in with a $600 buy-in tournament which featured a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool. After a tough final table, Fabian Caicedo walked away with the outright win for $15,925 and the WPO trophy.
Along the way, Caicedo denied Raminder Singh his fourth career Tampa major and his second win in this tournament. Singh won the Tampa Winter Poker Open $600 Deep Stack one-day tournament in 2020 and two more titles during the 2022 WPT Tampa series.
For Caicedo, this is his first major Tampa victory and his second biggest score after the $23,000 he earned for our July Holiday Deep Stacks event in July.
