The biggest Pot Limit Omaha game on the WSOP Circuit schedule brought out a big crowd of local grinders and travelers from around the country. By the time it was done, it was Florida’s David Prociak dominating the final table to earn his second career WSOP Circuit ring along with a $51,400 payout.

“Early on I turned a huge hand,” Prociak said of his run. “I had the nuts with a redraw in a three-way all in and I hit the redraw and had like a million in chips.”

“Once I had the chip lead, it was a little up and down but mostly just adding to the chip lead.”

The tournament drew 212 entries to put up a $212,000 prize pool with the last 36 players earning a piece. They made it to the money at the end of Day 2 and they returned on Wednesday to play it out.

Prociak came back near the top of the counts but had the biggest stack when they formed a tough final table that included Leif Force, TK Miles, reigning WSOP Poker Players Champion Phil Hui, and current Casino Championship front-runner David Tuthill.

It was two friends going heads-up for the title between Prociak and Hui. Prociak pushed his advantage and took the title despite a comeback attempt by Hui.

Prociak, the former Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year, added a second WSOP Circuit ring (both in Pot Limit Omaha, the other won in Hollywood) to go with his WSOP bracelet from 2016.

“I consider Hard Rock my home, no matter which one it is,” Prociak said. “Feels good to be here and winning.”
