Richard Hope’s pocket Tens lost a race to James Sutherland’s AK when a King hit the turn.  James doubled up and Richard was left short.

Then Richard was all-in holding 75 off against David Hunt’s A6.  The board came K 8 5 2 K and Richard paired his 5 to double up.

Then in a battle of the blinds, Richard shoved from the small for 615k and after some thought, James Sutherland called from the big.  Richard’s J9 off needed help against James’ A4 off.

The board ran out K 5 3 K 6 and was no help to Richard this time.  He busted out in 12th place, earning $5,748.
