Oleg Rutskin

We saw an entire table of players standing up and looking over the protective plexiglass, a clear indicator something interesting happened.

It turns out that Oleg Rutskin was in a big hand when all the chips went in the middle after a QhJh6h flop. Rutskin was holding an over pair KsKd against his opponent who flopped middle pair/nut flush draw with AhJs.

The Jc turn put his opponent in the lead but it didn’t last long when Rutskin binked the Kh river. The flush got there but Rutskin made a boat to send him out.

Making things more interesting, Rutskin’s neighbor Leif Oskarsson said he folded Th9h which would have been good for the straight flush.

Blinds increased to 6,000/12,000 with a 12,000 ante and the average stack is 386,000 (32 bb) with 42 players remaining.
