$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 8: Blinds 300/600/75
164 entries
Before the last break, James “Ping Pang” Kerr (Lakeland, FL) made it clear he was looking to re-enter. But after four straight all-ins, Kerr never made it back to the cage after his stack ping-ponged all over the table.
“Hurry up, so I can rebuy,” Kerr said while waiting for a player to make a decision.
Kerr’s first all in was part of a 4-way pot when he was down to 5,875. He got a quadruple-up with the nut flush when he cracked the pocket Kings of Roger Perkins (Longwood, FL), who won the side pot.
The hand took Kerr to nearly the 25k starting stack and the roller coaster was on.

Kerr ends the level with 31,600, just above the stack he would have gotten with re-entry.
“I’m willing to flip for $350,” says Kerr who didn’t have to pay for another bullet. “I either get a big stack or rebuy.”
While unconventional, the action was entertaining.
