Georgia’s Russ Head has been beating up the World Series of Poker Circuit for the better part of three years. Dating back to September of 2013, he’s recorded 12 cashes in the tour’s $1,675 Main Events including five final table appearances and a victory.
Fresh off a score in North Carolina, Head made the trek south with friend and fellow Circuit standout Chris Conrad. The duo has some experience playing Seminole Hard Rock Poker events (Conrad claims two gold rings), but are definitely new to the property.
Head and Conrad are currently seated together at Table 45. Head owns the edge having chipped up in a few medium-sized pots early. Conrad, meanwhile, sits slightly below starting stack.
