Jean “Prince” Gaspard

The board was dealt through the turn and it read AdTd5c7s. There were three players in the pot. Jean “Prince” Gaspard was on the button with about 10,000 chips and the red “All In” button in front of him. There was a player in early position who appeared to have raised the all-in bet to 25,000. Action was back on a late-position player who was in the tank. Gaspard started whistling.

Jean Gaspard whistles

After a couple minutes, the late-position player plopped a stack of gray chips in the pot for an all-in bet and the early-position player quickly called.

“Holy shit,” Gaspard said.

Early-position player: Ah7h for two pair
Late-position player: Ac7c for two pair
Gaspard: Tc9s for a pair of tens

“You need to put a 10 out there, dude,” Gaspard laughed to the dealer.

River: 8c

Gaspard never improved and was eliminated from Flight C of the Championship. The other two players in the hand chopped up the pot.

“I’m supposed to favored in that shit — ace-seven and ace-seven!” Gaspard said playfully as he stood from the table.
