The flop laid Th6h3h and Matthew Leecy was in the big blind in a heads-up pot versus Moe Affaneh. Leecy lead for 90,000 and Affaneh slid a raise into the pot that appeared to be worth 300,000. After a couple minutes in the tank, Leecy spoke up.

“I can’t fold,” he said. “I’m all in.”

Affaneh snapped.

Affaneh: JhJc for an overpair with a flush draw
Leecy: Ah2c for an ace-high flush draw

The turn completed the heart draws falling the 5h. The river was a meaningless 9d. Leecy’s all-in bet was broken down to 1,305,000. Affaneh cut out the chips and Leecy raked in a pot worth nearly 3,000,000.

Leecy held the lead for just a couple hands before doubling up the 980,000-chip stack of David Bradshaw.
