Championship: Kessler Doubles After Break

$1,650 WPO Championship (Re-Entry)
Level 13: 1,000/2,000 with a 300 ante
Flight B Players Remaining: 36 of 112

Allen Kessler

Allen Kessler was among the short stacks after the last break and found a good spot to get his chips in the middle. After a late position open, another player moved all-in and Kessler called for less.

He put in 20,800 with AhJs and had to fade two live cards Kh8d. The 9d4h3c was harmless and his opponent was drawing dead after the As turn. Kessler moved up to 47,900 with time to spare.

“I want to be the guy who makes it Level 14 twice and doesn’t bag.” Kessler said.

He was on the grind for nearly 12 hours in Flight A with nothing to show for it in the end.
